Job summary

Loews Hotels & Co is hiring a Sr. Group Billing Clerk to support high-volume billing across multiple properties. You will review and audit group charges, reconcile catering and group accounts, and prepare final invoices for clients and planners with accuracy and timeliness.

Work closely with the Billing Services Manager and hotel teams to resolve discrepancies, maintain confidentiality, and uphold accounting standards while ensuring excellent service to our valued group clients.

Qualifications

• 6 months of billing and accounting experience.
• HS Diploma or GED preferred; 1–2 years customer-facing hospitality or finance experience.
• Ability to work with others, maintain confidentiality, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to organize workload, adapt to change, and meet deadlines.
• Proficient in standard and intermediate spreadsheet functions using Excel or similar.

Responsibilities

• Upholds PCI, guest confidentiality, and accounting best practices.
• Reconciling group and catering charges using hotel systems.
• Calculate contractual concessions in the property management system.
• Investigate missing or discrepant charges for accuracy.
• Compile final invoices for hotel group and catering events for clients and planners.
• Collaborate with Billing Services and hotel teams to resolve disputes.
• Maintain relationships with Finance, Sales, Catering, and Conference Services teams.
• Daily audit of department financial transactions for compliance.
• Support training and continuous improvement initiatives with Billing Manager.
