Arcadis, a global leader in sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy, seeks a principal groundwater scientist/engineer (Engineer, Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Hydrogeologist) to lead quantitative hydrogeology projects across the US and abroad. The role requires a MS in a related field, 15–20 years of experience, and licensure (PE or RG/PG).

Due to field work and site visits, travel and a clean driving record are expected.

Qualifications

• MS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• 15–20 years of experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered/Professional Geologist (RG/PG).
• 40-Hour OSHA Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response (HAZWOPER) Training.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office-based software programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Clean driving record and education/certification verification.

Responsabilités

• Quantitative/qualitative interpretation of hydrogeologic systems and CSM development.
• Remedial system conceptual design and performance evaluation.
• Geostatistical analysis and modeling of hydrogeologic data; groundwater flow and transport modeling.
• Prepare technical reports, plans, and presentations; oversee subsurface characterization and remediation activities.
• Field work including soil borings, monitoring wells, and sampling; data collection and analysis.
• Communicate with project teams, clients, and regulatory agencies; mentor junior staff.
