Arcadis is seeking a principal groundwater scientist/engineer to lead quantitative hydrogeology for remediation and water resources projects in the US and beyond. The role emphasizes analytical modeling, CSM development, and robust data interpretation.

The position requires 15–20 years of experience, an MS in Geology or related field, PE or RG/PG, and HAZWOPER training. Travel 5–20% is expected; mentorship and high-quality technical output are core expectations.

Qualifications

• MS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• PE or RG/PG certification.
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER training.
• Proficient with Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with groundwater modeling and remediation design.

Responsibilities

• Quantitative/qualitative interpretation of hydrogeologic systems and CSM development.
• Remedial system design, performance evaluation, and data visualization.
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, and presentations; mentor junior staff.
• Field work, subsurface characterization, and coordination with clients/regulators.
