Job summary

Arcadis seeks a principal groundwater scientist/engineer (Engineer, Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Hydrogeologist) to lead quantitative hydrogeology projects in the US and abroad. The role emphasizes CSM development, remedial system design, and advanced modeling to support environmental remediation and water resources initiatives.

The position requires a strong track record, professionalism, and the ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15–20 years of related experience.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered/Professional Geologist (RG/PG).
• 40-Hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Quantitative/qualitative interpretation of hydrogeologic systems.
• Conceptual site model (CSM) development and remedial system design.
• Analytical calculations and water resource evaluations.
• Remedial system performance evaluation and well design.
• Preparation of technical reports, plans, and presentations.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to proposals and client presentations.
