Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a principal groundwater scientist/engineer (Engineer, Environmental Scientist, Geologist, or Hydrogeologist) to lead quantitative hydrogeology work on remediation and water resources projects across the US and abroad.

Requirements include an MS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering or Environmental Science, 15–20 years of experience, a PE or RG/PG license, and 40-hour HAZWOPER training; proficient MS Office and a clean driving record are also expected.

Qualifications

MS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering or Environmental Science or related discipline
15–20 years of experience in groundwater science or engineering
Knowledge of US environmental and water resources regulatory regime
PE or RG/PG certifications
HAZWOPER Training (40-hour) required
Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to verify education/certifications

Responsibilities

Quantitative/qualitative interpretation of hydrogeologic systems and CSM development
Remedial system conceptual design and performance evaluation
Site investigations including sampling and monitoring of soil, groundwater and surface water
Preparation of technical reports, work plans, proposals and presentations
Mentor junior staff and coordinate with project teams and regulators
