Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a principal groundwater scientist/engineer to lead quantitative hydrogeology work for remediation and water resources projects across the US and abroad.

The role requires a strong background in hydrogeology, experience with analytical and numerical modeling, and the ability to mentor junior staff while interfacing with clients and regulators. This is a full-time position based in the United States.

Qualifications

• MS or higher in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory framework across the United States.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or RG/PG certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Quantitative/qualitative interpretation of hydrogeologic systems.
• Develop CSModel/CSM and remedial system concepts.
• Design remedial systems and perform calculations and evaluations.
• Prepare technical reports, plans, and presentations.
• Oversee field activities including soil borings and well installations.
