Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a principal groundwater scientist/engineer to lead quantitative hydrogeology work across remediation and water-resource projects in the United States and abroad. The role emphasizes CS M development, modeling, and advanced analytics, with field oversight and client/regulator coordination.

The ideal candidate will have 15–20 years of experience, an MS in a relevant field, and PE or RG/PG licensure, plus HAZWOPER training.

Qualifications

• 15 to 20 years of experience in groundwater science or engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered/Professional Geologist (RG/PG)
• 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training
• Proficient with Microsoft Office-based software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of U.S. environmental and water resources regulatory regimes

Responsibilities

• Quantitative/qualitative interpretation of hydrogeologic systems and CS M development
• Remedial system conceptual design and evaluation
• Analytical calculations and water-resource evaluations
• Remediation/well design and monitoring activities
• Preparation of technical reports, planning documents, and presentations
• Field work including collecting soil and water samples and installation of wells
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to proposals and reports

Education

MS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline
