Job summary

Arcadis U.S.Inc. seeks a principal groundwater scientist/engineer to lead complex remediation and water resource projects across the U.S. and abroad. The role focuses on quantitative hydrogeology, CSM development, and modeling, with field work and collaboration across teams.

Required are a master’s in a related field, 15–20 years of experience, and a PE or RG/PG license. Travel of 5–20% and mentoring responsibilities are expected.

Qualifications

• MS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related discipline.
• 15–20 years minimum experience in groundwater/environmental projects.
• PE or RG/PG professional license required.

Responsibilities

• Quantitative/qualitative interpretation of hydrogeologic systems and CSM development.
• Remedial system design, performance evaluation, and water resource analysis.
• Prepare technical reports, work plans, proposals, and presentations.
• Mentor junior staff and review their work.
• Field work at project sites with soils, groundwater or hazardous materials.
