Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to lead operations at our Fort Gordon, Georgia facility. You will schedule crews, allocate resources, and audit performance to ensure on-time completion of landscaping requirements per the Grounds Services Plan.

Your responsibilities include managing chemical applications within safety and wind thresholds, supervising in-house crews and subcontractors, and maintaining fleet and equipment logs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in commercial grounds management with leadership experience.
• Knowledge of warm-season turf (Zoysia, Bermuda) and USDA Hardiness Zone 8b.
• Valid driver’s license; Georgia pesticide applicator license desired.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-person crew with a weekly rotation to meet the Grounds Services Plan.
• Schedule and verify chemical applications and manage safety compliance.
• Audit external landscapers and review Chemical Application Logs within 24 hours.
