Job summary

FASCON is seeking a Grounds Manager to oversee groundskeeping in Augusta, GA. You will manage staff, assign tasks, inspect completed work, and document disciplinary actions with HR.

Daily responsibilities include mowing, pruning, and plant care, while ensuring safety and compliance with standards. Responsibilities cover equipment use, maintenance, and seasonal tasks, with collaboration across the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6 months of experience using mowing and landscaping equipment (lawnmowers, trimmers).
• Extensive knowledge of hand and power tools used for groundskeeping and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of landscaping practices, lawn care techniques, and plant maintenance.
• Familiarity with minor maintenance and troubleshooting of landscaping equipment.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and prioritize daily responsibilities effectively.
• Industry Certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform mowing, edging, trimming, and weeding on facility grounds to maintain a tidy and professional appearance.
• Plant, prune, fertilize, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery as required.
• Conduct mulching, watering, aerating, and reseeding tasks to promote healthy plant growth and lawn care.
