Job summary

Augusta University seeks a Grounds Foreman to oversee maintenance of campus grounds and supervise Landscaping personnel in coordination with the Manager and team. The Foreman will plan schedules, train staff, delegate tasks, and step in for the campus manager when needed, while ensuring high standards and compliance with university policies on a day shift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent with seven (7) years of grounds maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds, waste management, pruning, mowing, irrigation and event setup.
• Assist in staffing plans, schedules and supervision of staff and training.
• Operate vehicles and light construction equipment safely.
• Maintain equipment and keep documentation on care and maintenance.
• Provide time and labor accounting using Facilities tracking program.
• Perform other related duties as instructed by supervisor.
