Job summary

Amentum is seeking a dedicated Grounds/General Maintenance professional to support Facilities O&M services in Destin, Florida. The role covers equipment, building structures, and landscaping maintenance under an O&M contract.

Typical duties run Monday–Friday 06:30–15:30 with occasional evenings and weekends. Must hold a TS/SCI clearance, high school diploma, and 5+ years of maintenance experience; valid licenses and certifications are required for equipment and safety tasks.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in general maintenance or a related field.
• Heavy equipment experience with backhoes, front end loaders, skid steers, telehandlers, and forklifts.
• Experience with telescopic boom lifts and scissor lifts.
• Valid driver’s license issued by the applicant’s state of residence.
• Able to obtain and maintain a LCLM (limited commercial landscape maintenance) license for herbicide and pesticide application.
• Able to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
• Able to work in areas of height with MEWPs.
• Able to obtain and maintain certification for fall protection.
• Preferred: CDL Class A
