Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager for ground-up restaurant and retail builds in Reston, VA with hybrid flexibility.

You will oversee multiple projects from planning through execution, ensuring on-time delivery and budget control. Candidates must have restaurant and retail construction experience (ground-up and tenant build-outs) and proficiency with construction management software.

Qualifications

• Ground-up restaurant and retail construction experience is strictly required.
• Procore, Primavera and Raken scheduling software experience strongly preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and site designs.
• Exceptional multi-project time management and deadline discipline.
• Excellent interpersonal communication with contractors, vendors and clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle construction for multiple concurrent restaurant and retail projects, overseeing schedules, budgets, and resources.
• Conduct regular site visits to enforce safety, quality, and code compliance.
• Monitor project expenses and drive cost-control measures to keep projects on budget.
• Review, interpret and execute against complex project blueprints and architectural designs.
• Identify potential risks or schedule delays and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Lead meetings and coordinate with contractors, vendors, clients, and internal teams to maintain alignment.
