Job summary

Blue Origin LLC is seeking a Senior Ground System Fluid Mechanical Design Engineer to lead the design of integrated ground test systems for rocket engines and space vehicles in Denver, CO. You will design fluid and structural subsystems, coordinate with suppliers, and oversee construction, installation and commissioning of new test facilities.

The role requires extensive experience in fluid/mechanical systems, risk assessment, and leading engineering teams, with exposure to hazardous operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Aerospace engineering, or related field.
• Experience in fluid/mechanical systems and test operations.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects in aerospace or similar industries.

Responsibilities

• Design fluid and structural systems for ground test facilities.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage cost, schedule, and technical requirements.
• Lead hazard assessments and risk mitigation for test operations.
• Mentor engineers and guide technical teams.
