Job summary
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Staff Electronics Engineer – Hardware and Ground Segment Integration Lead in San Diego, CA. You will guide the ground segment control, diagnose anomalies, and coordinate with suppliers to maintain mission readiness.
The role requires a STEM degree with extensive engineering experience and an active DoD Secret clearance. You will act as a technical bridge across teams, managing testing, integration, and sustainment artifacts for system upgrades.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of engineering exp in STEM fields.
- Hands-on software development, integration and testing experience.
- Active DoD Secret clearance required (Top Secret possible).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate hardware/software integration efforts with suppliers.
- Lead ground segment control deficiencies investigations and testing.
- Interface across organizations to ensure hardware/software baselines are met.
- Guide cross-enterprise troubleshooting for lab, enterprise, and fielded setups.
- Prepare updates to system with major hardware/software suppliers.
