Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking an Electronics Engineer in Baltimore, MD to design and fabricate EGSE test sets for ground testing of flight hardware. You’ll lead panel and cable design, perform integration and troubleshooting, and coordinate across engineers, technicians, and vendors.

The role requires a STEM degree with substantial hardware design experience and an active SECRET clearance with TS/SCI eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (or higher) STEM degree with relevant hardware design experience.
• Proficiency in panel/cable design and schematic layouts required.
• Active SECRET clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI is needed.
• Hands-on hardware troubleshooting and lab test experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead panel and cable design efforts, including electrical interconnects and schematics.
• Own root cause analysis and corrective actions with documentation.
• Perform integration, checkout, and troubleshooting of test equipment in lab.
• Interface with engineers, technicians, admins, security, and vendors to support test sets.
• Lead design cycle of EGSE from concept to fabrication and test.
• Mentor early-career engineers and promote best practices.
