University Health seeks a program leader for Anticipatory Grief and Bereavement within Supportive Care Services. The role integrates bereavement resources for patients, families, and staff, and supports staff wellbeing to prevent compassion fatigue.

The candidate should hold a bachelor’s or master’s in a related field and complete ACPE CPE units, with residency experience preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is highly recommended.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, chaplaincy or human services.
• Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (ACPE) required for chaplaincy; one-year clinical residency preferred.
• English/Spanish fluency is highly recommended.
• Licensure/certification in grief counseling or related Texas licensure preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the Anticipatory Grief and Bereavement Program for patients and families.
• Collaborate with Supportive Care Services to integrate bereavement resources for families and staff.
• Provide self-care support to staff experiencing compassion fatigue.
• Support and maintain the Supportive Care Services and University Health mission, vision and values.
