Job summary

Recurrent Energy seeks an Analyst/Senior Analyst to support interconnection evaluation for utility-scale solar and storage projects in U.S. markets. The role covers the full development lifecycle, from siting through interconnection agreement execution, construction, and commissioning.

Responsibilities include performing interconnection studies, evaluating network constraints, and coordinating with Development, Engineering, and Construction teams to manage risks, costs, and timelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (power systems preferred).
• Analyst: 1–3 years relevant experience.
• Senior Analyst: 3–5+ years relevant experience (developer, utility, ISO/RTO, or consulting).
• Familiarity with transmission planning, interconnection processes, or grid studies.
• Experience with at least one major power system modeling tool.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the interconnection process, including queue strategy, application preparation, and study execution.
• Evaluate transmission constraints, interconnection options, and economic viability to inform siting and development decisions.
• Track and manage projects through RTO/ISO and utility study processes (e.g., SRIS, Facilities Studies).
