  • Maintain internal tracking of IA milestones, including interconnection costs, utility upgrade scopes, and financial security requirements
  • Review interconnection request submissions and associated financial models to ensure data accuracy and consistency
  • Monitor regulatory updates, stakeholder proceedings, and transmission planning activities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure timely, cost-effective, and technically sound project interconnections.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of experience managing interconnection requests and study processes at an infrastructure developer, electric utility, transmission provider, or energy consulting firm, preferably in the Southeast
  • Direct experience with regulated utility interconnection processes in Pacific Northwest
  • Familiarity with Interconnection Agreements
  • Strong understanding of OATT, transmission system planning, interconnection queue management, and regulatory frameworks such as FERC LGIP
  • Excellent analytical, research, and written communication skills
  • Ability to interpret interconnection study results and identify associated risks for non-technical internal teams
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a proactive, solutions-driven approach
  • Effective collaborator with the ability to work cross-functionally across technical and commercial teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with large load interconnection processes
