Job summary

Beckwith Electric, a business unit of Hubbell Power Systems, is seeking a Senior Applications Engineer to support protection, control, and automation solutions for electric utilities. You will act as a technical expert, customer advocate, and informal team leader, partnering with engineering, product management and sales to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• BS degree in electrical engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in power systems, protection, or grid automation.
• Experience in Electric Utility Industry preferred.
• 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles and power distribution knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support for Beckwith Electric products and system applications.
• Interpret customer requirements and recommend optimal solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex field and system issues.
• Develop deep expertise across distribution and automation product portfolios.
• Guide customers on best practices for system integration and operation.
• Lead and mentor junior engineers and support staff.
• Deliver technical training, demonstrations, and presentations.
