Job summary

Neo4j in the United States seeks a Solutions Engineer to partner with sales, demonstrate graph data platform value, and lead technical aspects of the sales cycle for financial services & insurance use cases.

You will own evaluations, deliver platform demonstrations, and architect reference solutions with cloud or on-prem environments, while staying current on Neo4j capabilities and partner tools.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of customer-facing sales/solutions engineer experience.
• Experience with data technologies: analytics, data science, or cloud data architecture.
• Working knowledge of graph databases.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Familiar with GenAI, LLMs, and Agentic AI.
• Track record designing and implementing data solutions in cloud or on-prem environments.
• Ability to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to prioritize and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Confidently articulate business and technical value of Neo4j to customers as a technical advisor.
• Drive technology evaluation stage of sales cycles.
• Manage multiple opportunities with qualification, discovery, presentations, demos, and documentation.
• Build rapport with stakeholders and act as trusted advisor on Neo4j solutions.
• Co-create reference architectures, integrating Neo4j with cloud or on-prem environments.
• Stay current on Neo4j capabilities and third-party integrations.
• Communicate customer needs to product and engineering teams.
• Support demand through ABM events and industry conferences.
• Lead by example and foster teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Travel as needed to aid in deal creation and closure.
