Job summary

Neo4j is seeking a Solutions Engineer to partner with sales executives, showcase the value of our graph data platform, and lead technical evaluations. You will craft reference architectures for cloud or on-prem environments and translate complex data patterns into business outcomes from Charlotte, NC and across the United States.

This role requires strong communication, graph technology expertise, and a willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in customer-facing sales/solutions roles.
• Experience with enterprise data architecture, analytics, data science or cloud data architecture.
• Knowledge of graph databases (Neo4j, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL; proficiency in Python/Java/JS/Go/C#.
• Familiarity with GenAI and AI-enabled solutions is a plus.
• Proven track record designing data solutions in cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) or on-premise.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to prioritize, pivot and solve problems.
• Passion for graphs and learning new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Articulate the business and technical value of Neo4j to customers as a technical advisor.
• Drive the technology evaluation stage of sales cycles.
• Manage multiple opportunities with discovery, demos, value proof, sizing, and documentation.
• Build rapport with customer stakeholders and act as trusted advisor.
• Co-create reference architectures including cloud or on-prem integration.
• Stay current on Neo4j capabilities and third-party integrations.
• Provide product feedback to Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Sales.
• Participate in ABM events and industry conferences to drive demand.
• Lead by example; foster teamwork, transparency and continuous improvement.
• Travel as needed to support deal creation and closure.
