Job summary

Rosendin seeks a Senior Grants Specialist to oversee The Rosendin Foundation’s grant lifecycle, ensuring policy compliance, data integrity, and operational excellence. You will manage CRM systems, coordinate with finance and communications, and lead process improvements for grantmaking practices.

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will partner with volunteer committees and leadership to drive impact and ensure timely grant delivery across inquiries, approvals, payments, and reporting

Qualifications

• Demonstrated understanding of grants administration and foundation operations across the full grant lifecycle.
• Demonstrated experience managing grantmaking processes, systems, workflows, reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated experience and strong knowledge of grants management databases and CRM platforms.
• Demonstrated strong experience with Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge Grantmaker is required.
• Manage volunteer teams with professional tenacity.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and project management skills.
• Strong data/information analysis experience that drives and supports informed decision-making, including synthesizing information, identifying trends, and recommending opportunities.
• Strong understanding and application of data integrity, reporting accuracy, and records management principles.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and adapt to changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of The Rosendin Foundation’s grants management administration process throughout the full grant lifecycle.
• Review, process, and ensure internal/external compliance for all grant inquiries, applications, approvals, payments, reporting requirements, and grant closeout activities.
• Own and lead implementation of CRM Grant Making systems (eg: Blackbaud/Raiser’s Edge Grantmaker) and related updates and documentation.
• Manage grants management systems to ensure functionality, documentation, reporting, and data integrity.
• Serve as internal first point of contact for interpreting and applying grant administration policies and ensuring compliance.
• Develop and implement operational improvements in grant tracking, reporting, and recordkeeping.
• Track grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and payment schedules for timely obligations.
• Provide direction to volunteer grant committees throughout the review process and provide admin support.
• Collaborate with finance to ensure grant payments, reconciliation, and budgeting.
• Support communications and leadership with grant announcements and impact reporting.
• Generate reports and dashboards to support leadership decisions and program evaluation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and tech enhancements related to grant administration.
• Partner with IT to implement and optimize grants management platforms.
