Job summary

Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning & Budgeting, Grants & Federal Resources seeks a Senior Business Intelligence & Data Architect to be the authoritative technical expert for the State’s enterprise grants BI ecosystem, spanning policy, cloud data engineering, and analytics.

The Architect will integrate data across AzGMS, AZ360, legacy systems, and federal exports to build automated reporting pipelines and executive dashboards, while authoring SOPs and leading data mapping, migration, and

Qualifications

• Proficiency in SQL scripting and data warehousing design.
• Experience with relational data models and star schemas.
• Strong skills in Power BI for executive dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Manage Azure data services and security tooling.
• Design and publish executive dashboards across state agencies.
• Develop SOPs and runbooks for reporting pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
• Lead data mapping, migration strategies, and data quality initiatives.
• Ensure audit readiness and compliance through governance artifacts.
