Job summary

State of Arizona’s Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning & Budgeting Grants & Federal Resources seeks a Senior Business Intelligence & Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture for the statewide grants management SaaS platform. You will integrate data across AzGMS, AZ360, and legacy systems, delivering executive dashboards and automated reporting to support compliance and decision-making.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a technical field with 9+ years of hands-on data architecture experience.
Strong experience building enterprise data models, dashboards, and ETL/ELT pipelines for SaaS grants platforms.
Public sector or grant data experience, and familiarity with SEFA reporting and compliance monitoring.

Responsibilities

Manage Azure Data Factory orchestration, Azure Data Lake Gen2, and Azure SQL DB indexing.
Design and publish executive Power BI dashboards for state agencies with cross-organization visibility.
Lead data mapping, migration strategies, and create SOPs for reporting and runbooks.
Ensure data governance, audit readiness, and reconciliation across legacy and modern systems.
Collaborate with SaaS vendor, ERP/AZ360 teams, Security, and Agency Leads on reporting needs.
