Job summary

CACI International Inc seeks a Senior Observability Platform Engineer to turn telemetry into actionable dashboards, alerts, and SLA-driven insights from Grafana and related tooling.

You will own Grafana deployment, alerting standards, and SRE practices, collaborating with platform ops, security, and FinOps to ensure reliable service health and governance. Based in Reston, VA with up to 10% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in SRE, observability engineering, monitoring engineering, platform operations, DevOps, or production support.
• 3+ years of advanced Grafana administration, dashboard development, and alerting experience.
• Proficiency in PromQL and/or LogQL; experience with Elastic Query DSL/KQL is strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Grafana engineering and visualization: deploy, secure, and maintain Grafana as the primary visualization and alerting interface; build role-based dashboards for various teams.
• Alerting and incident workflow engineering: design, tune, and maintain alerts; establish standards, routing, and maintenance-window practices.
• SRE, service health, and operational readiness: define SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, and reliability reporting; build meta-monitoring dashboards.
