Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking a GPU Physical Design Engineer to drive RTL-to-GDS implementation for next-generation graphics products. You will own synthesis, placement, routing, timing analysis and verification, ensuring optimal power, performance, and area.

You will join the Data Center Group (DCG) and collaborate with cross-functional teams to push advances in GPU design on advanced nodes. This role offers a hybrid on-site/off-site work model in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field with several years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with ASIC design flows such as floorplanning, synthesis, place and route, and layout verification.
• Advanced scripting skills (Tcl, Python) for flow automation and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Perform physical design implementation of GPU designs, including synthesis, placement, routing, and clock tree synthesis.
• Conduct verification and signoff tasks: STA, layout verification, formal equivalence checking.
• Analyze results and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize power, frequency, and area.
• Develop and improve physical design methodologies and flow automation for continuous GPU design innovation.
• Address GPU development challenges by defining product requirements and implementing tailored methodologies for advanced process nodes.
