Job summary

EY’s Government & Public Sector-Financial Accounting Advisory Services (GPS-FAAS) team in McLean is seeking a Senior who will serve as a primary client contact, ensuring data integrity and reliable reporting across federal programs.

You’ll deepen expertise in federal accounting, governance and regulatory issues, mentor junior staff and drive cross-team collaboration in a hybrid work model. Travel up to 25-30% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business; 4-6 years US federal GAAP experience.
• Pursuing CPA certification.
• Experience with Federal financial statements, data analytics, mining and visualization.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Understanding Federal financial management objectives and terminology.
• Proven record of mentoring and leading a team.
• Ability to assess risk and provide solutions.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance; travel 25–30% in hybrid work.
• Work may be at client, EY or contractor sites.
