Job summary

EY in the United States is seeking a staff-level professional in Government & Public Sector-Financial Accounting Advisory Services (GPS-FAAS). You will work across Federal GPS service lines, communicating with clients and applying data integrity expertise to improve reporting, accounting processes, and governance.

You will build relationships, mentor junior colleagues, and stay current with market trends and public sector requirements. The role may require travel and a secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business with Federal US GAAP experience.
• Pursuing CPA certification.
• Experience with Federal financial statements, analytics and data visualization.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day client contact to ensure data integrity and reliable reporting.
• Develop knowledge of client processes and industry developments.
• Build relationships and refer prospects to other teams to broaden business.
