Job summary

Maximus is seeking a senior solutions architect to design scalable government IT solutions and lead cross‑functional teams across proposals, pricing and implementation. You will translate client needs into viable architectures, guide modernization efforts, and ensure compliance with government requirements.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate with capture managers on pre‑RFP opportunities, and develop transition plans for operational readiness and adoption across large programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• 10-12 years of relevant professional experience required.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Bachelor's degree in relevant field of study required (Master's degree preferred).
• 10+ years of technical IT experience including solution development.
• Additional relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, extensible solutions for government IT projects.
• Lead solution design and strategy for high-priority government pursuits.
• Define technical win themes and differentiators for competitive proposals.
• Develop estimation models and solution pricing strategies.
• Mentor junior architects and provide technical guidance across teams.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance requirements and align with customer needs.
• Lead large complex initiatives with cross-functional teams.
