Job summary

Maximus is seeking a senior solutions architect to design and lead government IT solutions, spanning cloud, cybersecurity, and AI/ML. You will translate client needs into architectures and guide cross-functional teams, including capture managers, through RFI/RFP processes.

You will mentor junior architects, ensure compliance with security standards, and drive scalable, cost-aware solutions that meet operational requirements across time zones. This role supports remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• 10-12 years of professional experience.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience considered in lieu of degree.
• Experience with government proposal processes and competitive analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, extensible government IT solutions.
• Lead RFI, RFP, RFQ response development including whitepapers.
• Mentor junior architects and provide guidance across teams.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance requirements and align with customer needs.
• Develop transition plans addressing operational readiness and implementation.
• Collaborate with capture managers to shape opportunities pre-RFP.
• Review, guide and support RFIs, RFPs and RFQs, response development.
