Job summary

The Tatitlek Corporation seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead all facility operations and maintenance for a large government facility in the Charleston area. You will allocate labor, resources, and equipment to meet contract requirements while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities include developing strategic operating plans, managing budgets, and coordinating with government clients.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in FM/operations.
• Active Top Secret security clearance.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in O&M or facilities management.
• Minimum of 5 years leading operations for large facilities.
• Extensive knowledge of facilities management principles and best practices.
• Strong strategic planning and execution abilities with large-scale operations.
• Excellent communication with government clients and executives.
• Knowledge of contract management, including CFS requirements and metrics.
• Strong budgeting, cost controls, and resource allocation.
• Proven organizational and time management skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA, safety standards, and environmental compliance.
• Proficiency with CMMS and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage all O&M support services for a large government facility.
• Commit and allocate labor, resources, tools, materials, parts, and equipment to meet contract requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor operational strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Oversee custodial, maintenance, logistics, supply management, and support services.
• Manage operational budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective utilization.
• Ensure compliance with contract specs, regulations, safety, and quality control.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures and manage crisis situations.
• Prepare and present operational reports and status updates to management and clients.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Manage contractor and vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery.
