Job summary

Karsun Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Manager to lead contracts, subcontracts, and related business processes across the procurement cycle for their assigned portfolio. You will work independently and as part of a team, coordinating with colleagues at all levels to meet deadlines and resolve contract issues.

Candidates local to the DMV area may be required to adhere to a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (or related field) with at least 10 years of experience or at least 15 years of relevant contracts experience.
• Experience managing large scale contracts for government contractors
• Knowledge of FAR and agency-specific acquisition regulations, ethics, and government property restrictions
• Experience with CPSR and approval process

Responsibilities

• Pre- and Post-award Contract Support for Prime and Subcontract Agreements for an assigned portfolio: review solicitations for contractual risks and pricing requirements; draft and negotiate contracts; prepare, track and manage documentation; liaise with contracting officers and finance staff; negotiate scope changes and contract modifications; pursue payment/collection issues; review/approve contract closeouts.
• Proposal Development: work with BD, Pricing, and technical staff to develop proposals for cost-based, T&M, and fixed-price offers; review terms for acceptability and risk.
• Compliance Oversight: provide guidance on FAR and contract-specific compliance; develop and submit documents to federal contracting officials; document compliance for audit.
