Job summary

NCR Voyix is seeking a Government Contracts Manager III to support the Law Department in Germantown, MD or Atlanta. The role focuses on drafting, negotiating, and administering government contracts with federal and state customers, ensuring compliance and risk mitigation throughout the lifecycle.

Responsibilities include leading negotiations, advising internal stakeholders, and coordinating with Pricing, Sales, and finance to protect margins while upholding NCR Voyix policies.

Qualifications

• College degree
• 5+ years of experience reviewing, negotiating, and administering government contracts, incl. FAR and state/local procurement
• Ability to independently review solicitations, RFPs, amendments, task orders, and government terms and conditions
• Strong contract negotiation, risk assessment, and issue-spotting skills
• Experience advising business teams on compliance obligations and contractual risk
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with customers and leadership
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment with limited oversight
• Availability outside normal hours; occasional travel may be required
• Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, state/local procurement laws; open records and cybersecurity requirements
• Familiarity with NCR Voyix policies and solutions; ability to work with tax and revenue teams
• Excellent internal/external negotiation and writing skills

Responsibilities

• Meet with internal clients to understand objectives and assess risks of proposed sales transactions.
• Lead negotiations with customer senior management, attorneys, and contract professionals.
• Serve as the primary NCR Voyix contact during negotiations.
• Review, edit, and draft responses to customer proposed terms and conditions.
• Review solicitations, RFPs, RFQs, ITBs, contract amendments, and task orders.
• Analyze government procurement terms and advise on compliance obligations.
• Identify applicable FAR/DFARS/state and open records requirements.
• Advise on flow-down requirements to subcontractors and suppliers.
• Provide post-award contract interpretation and administration support.
• Assist with contract Modifications, equitable adjustments, option exercises, claims, disputes, and closeout.
