Job summary

Vosper Thornycroft Group is seeking a Principal Contracts Administrator to support intelligence community government contracting initiatives and ensure compliance with FAR/DFAR, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes acting as the primary customer contact for contract matters, maintaining records, and coordinating cross-functional teams to drive contract actions to completion. Top Secret clearance may be required in the future.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12 years of government contracting experience.
• Deep understanding of government acquisition processes and FAR/DFAR regulations.
• Experience with Cost/Price Analysis and various contract types (Cost Type, Fixed Price).
• Strong negotiation, oral and written communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary point of contact between company and customer for contract matters on assigned contracts.
• Draft, prepare, and execute internal and external contractual correspondence with increasing autonomy.
• Maintain and organize all contractual records and documents per requirements and policies.
• Track contract modifications, changes in scope, funding, and performance periods, and support reporting.
• Coordinate cradle-to-grave subcontract administration, including negotiations and supplier proposals analysis.
• Support assigned proposals: analyze solicitations, prepare summaries, and assemble contractual volumes.
