Job summary

Vosper Thornycroft Group is seeking a Lead Contracts Administrator to support government customers, focusing on compliance with policy, laws, and customer requirements. You will manage contract records, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive end-to-end contract lifecycle tasks under VP supervision.

The role requires a solid foundation in government contracting methods, execution of NDAs and teaming agreements, and strong negotiation and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience.
• Excellent understanding of the government acquisition process
• Cost Type / Cost-Plus Contract experience
• Firm Fixed Price Contract experience
• Prime and Subcontractor experience
• Excellent knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations
• Experience with agreements other than contracts (NDAs, PIA, Teaming Agreements)
• Working knowledge of financial accounting, government cost accounting principles, and project budgeting

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the customer for all contractual matters on assigned contracts and projects.
• Draft, prepare, and execute internal and external correspondence on contractual matters with increasing autonomy under supervision.
• Maintain all required contractual records and documents and serve as the official repository for all contractual documentation.
• Maintain accurate contract, modification, and agreement tracking records with cross-functional coordination.
• Coordinate contract lifecycle activities with Program Management, Project Control, Finance and other stakeholders.
• Perform cradle to grave Subcontract Administration including negotiations and procurements.
• Support proposal activities including analysis, pricing narratives, and review/signature coordination.
• Research and advise on contract language with VP - Contracts; negotiate routine/moderately complex contracts.
