Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Director of Business Development to lead growth across U.S. Government accounts, focusing on DoD and Intelligence Community opportunities.

This is a high-impact, individual-contributor role with a path toward building a government-focused BD team and guiding capture strategies across complex procurement threads. The successful candidate will drive end-to-end capture management, engage senior DoD/IC stakeholders, and shape compelling proposals that win large-scale contracts

Qualifications

• Experience selling to U.S. Government DoD/IC agencies.
• 5+ years in program or project management or related leadership roles.
• Deep knowledge of government acquisition vehicles (BAAs, OTAs, SBIRs) and large contracts.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute government BD campaigns to engage DoD/IC customers and secure opportunities.
• Drive end-to-end capture lifecycle from opportunity identification to post-award execution.
• Lead cross-functional teams on proposals and strategic planning processes.
• Build and expand revenue within DoD and Intelligence Community accounts.
• Navigate traditional and non-traditional contracting methods to win large-scale contracts.
