Job summary

Rea, a growing Top 100 business advisory and accounting firm, seeks a Senior Manager - Government Audit to lead audit engagements for government entities in Ohio. The role emphasizes supervision, client relationships, and regulatory compliance across federal, state, and local agencies.

You will guide audit teams, ensure GAAP/GASB/GAS and related standards, and drive practice growth while delivering high-quality services and engaging with clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of public accounting or industry experience with GASB.
• Supervisory experience in audit teams.
• CPA or international equivalent license.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates and supervisors on government audit projects.
• Plan, execute, and oversee audits for federal, state, and local agencies.
• Coach and mentor staff to improve performance.
• Serve as primary client contact and manage client relationships.
• Ensure audits comply with GAAP, GASB, GAAS, and GAGAS.
