Job summary

CrowdStrike seeks a Sr. GovCloud Data Infrastructure Engineer to build the AWS GovCloud platform from ground up, ensuring FedRAMP compliance and secure multi-environment architecture.

You will implement IaC with Chef, deploy PostgreSQL GovCloud services, and integrate Google SAML for secure access. You will also establish BI infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring across dev to production, collaborating with security and data teams to enable scalable, compliant government cloud data

Qualifications

• 6+ years of infrastructure engineering and operations.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS experience.
• Strong PostgreSQL administration experience including performance tuning and high-availability setup.
• Python for automation, monitoring and scripting.
• Hands-on with Chef for IaC, cookbooks and environments.
• Experience with Google SAML integration and SSO implementations.
• Tableau Server administration including installation, configuration and security.
• Multi-environment infrastructure design and deployment automation.
• Bash or Ruby scripting for automation.
• Experience with monitoring tools (CloudWatch, Datadog, Nagios).
• Security clearance eligible or ability to obtain government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and build AWS GovCloud infrastructure with secure architecture and FedRAMP/FISMA compliance.
• Establish PostgreSQL GovCloud infrastructure including backups and replication.
• Implement IaC using Chef for provisioning and deployment automation.
• Integrate Google SAML and SSO for access management.
• Deploy and configure BI infrastructure in GovCloud and manage authentication integration.
• Create multi-environment infrastructure with proper network segmentation and promotion workflows.
• Develop monitoring, alerting and observability with runbooks and DR procedures.
• Partner with security/compliance teams to meet government requirements.
• Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines and data orchestration with DevOps and data engineering teams.
• Leverage AI technologies to optimize workflows and outcomes.
