Job summary

CrowdStrike is hiring a Sr. Data Infrastructure Engineer to build a GovCloud platform aligned with FedRAMP and compliance. You will design IaC, establish secure database and BI infrastructure, and implement end-to-end environments across dev, preprod, and production.

You will work with security, compliance, and data teams, drive CI/CD pipelines, and apply AI-driven improvements to workflows while maintaining government-grade security and reliability.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of infrastructure engineering and operations experience.
• 3+ years hands-on AWS experience and greenfield cloud builds.
• Strong PostgreSQL admin skills: performance, replication, backup/recovery, HA.
• Python for automation, monitoring, and ops scripting.
• Experience with Chef for IaC and automation in greenfield deployments.

Responsibilities

• Design/build AWS GovCloud infrastructure with security, FedRAMP and network controls.
• Set up PostgreSQL infra with high availability and backups.
• Create IaC with Chef including cookbooks and automation recipes.
• Integrate Google SAML and SSO for secure access.
• Deploy BI infra (Tableau Server) and manage user access.
• Lead multi-environment design and deployment automation.
• Build monitoring/observability with runbooks and DR procedures.
• Collaborate with security/compliance and data teams on gov requirements.
