Job summary

Coinbase, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Wallets, Liquidity & Bridging team. You’ll design Go-based backend services for wallet operations, liquidity movements, and cross-chain bridging across custodial and non-custodial flows.

You’ll improve reliability and scalability of multi-chain wallet infrastructure, partnering with Trading, Custody, Staking, and other teams while driving architectural improvements and high-quality code reviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Go and building distributed backend services.
• Experience with production systems requiring high reliability.
• Familiarity with blockchain concepts and cross-chain interactions.
• Ability to decompose monoliths into scalable microservices and work across teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the design and delivery of Go-based backend services powering wallet operations, liquidity, and cross-chain bridging.
• Build and operate distributed systems for transaction lifecycle, signing, broadcasting, and on-chain reconciliation across Ethereum, Bitcoin, Solana.
• Improve reliability and observability of wallet services, contribute to incident response and post-mortems.
• Collaborate with Trading, Custody, Staking, and cross-platform teams to integrate wallet services with downstream products.
• Drive architecture improvements and service decomposition to enable reusable platform services.
• Mentor peers and enforce coding standards and architectural patterns.
