Job summary

Inca Digital, Inc. in the United States seeks a backend software engineer specializing in Go to design, build, and scale backend services. You will work on REST and gRPC APIs, data pipelines, and distributed systems in a fully remote environment.

You will collaborate with intelligence analysts and data engineers to deliver production-grade dashboards and alerts, leveraging AWS, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL stores, with a strong emphasis on quality, testing, and CI/CD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional backend experience with Go
• Strong knowledge of Go fundamentals including concurrency and testing
• Experience building REST APIs and/or gRPC services
• Familiarity with AWS environments
• Experience with messaging systems like Kafka/RabbitMQ/SQS
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other SQL databases
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB/Redis/DynamoDB
• Understanding of microservices and distributed systems
• Experience with Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services in Go
• Develop and maintain REST/gRPC APIs and data processing pipelines
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and platform teams
• Ensure reliable deployment with CI/CD and infrastructure as code
• Support system data quality, monitoring, and observability
