Job summary

Firstup is seeking a seasoned Data Engineer to build and maintain reliable data solutions translating complex business logic into scalable models. You will collaborate with engineering, analytics, and business teams to evolve data architecture.

Responsibilities include designing scalable pipelines, warehouses, and analytics, and developing GenAI-powered data interfaces. On-call coverage for production pipelines is expected, with a focus on reliability and impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with data warehouses such as StarRocks, Redshift, Snowflake, or Trino.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with hands-on AWS or GCP experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics solutions.
• Develop natural language interfaces to data using GenAI/LLM techniques.
• Support production pipelines through on-call rotation and incident response.
