Inca Digital, a veteran-owned data and intelligence company, is seeking a Software Engineer to design, build, and scale data products and investigative tools. You will own core engineering initiatives, collaborating with the Head of R&D, data scientists, and investigations teams to deliver production-grade APIs and dashboards.

The role focuses on end-to-end data infrastructure, graph analytics, and secure data pipelines across federal and commercial clients. Remote work is supported.

Competenze

• Pass a U.S. Tier 3 background investigation; generally required for U.S. citizens.
• Proficient in Python.
• Proven experience designing and operating production data infrastructure and pipelines.
• Deep PostgreSQL experience (self-managed or RDS/Aurora).
• Graph data modeling and network analysis experience; Neo4j/Cypher preferred.
• Production experience deploying containerized services to AWS.

Mansioni

• Design, build, and operate end-to-end data infrastructure and solutions for APIs, containerized apps, alerting, and graph visualizations.
• Model and deploy relational, document, and graph databases to support investigations and large-scale network analysis.
• Build ETL/ELT pipelines ingesting and reconciling diverse data sources from internal systems and external feeds.
• Own data quality, lineage, and reproducibility to support enforcement and litigation needs.
• Automate orchestration and CI/CD (GitHub Actions) into AWS cloud environments.
• Collaborate with Head of R&D and data scientists to translate requirements into production software.
• Make architecture decisions and evaluate new tech across crypto, finance, and security domains.
