Job summary

Applied Network Solutions, Inc. seeks a GNOC Tier II Network Technician to join our Chantilly, VA team. The role focuses on planning, analyzing, designing, developing, testing, securing, and maintaining complex network solutions for client mission systems.

Responsibilities include remote support of LAN/WAN devices, incident response, VLAN and routing troubleshooting, MPLS expertise, and collaboration with vendors to resolve issues. A rigorous DoD-compliant skill set is required.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph required.
10 years of work history/education experience (varies by education level).
Compliance with DoD 8140 IAT Level 2.
Knowledge of Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade and Foundry OS.
Layer 1, 2, and 3 network experience.

Responsibilities

Remotely support installation and maintenance of client LAN/WAN devices from GNOC location.
Respond to and resolve incident tickets.
Configure and troubleshoot VLANs and layer 2 switching.
Troubleshoot layer 3 routing and MPLS across the WAN.
Collaborate with vendors and other service providers to resolve incidents.
