Job summary

AT&T Global Public Sector is seeking a GNOC Tier II Network Technician to support the government client’s data communications, incident response, and 24x7 operations. The role requires on-site work in Chantilly, VA and active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities include VLAN config, MPLS troubleshooting, OSI layer diagnostics, and collaboration with vendors. DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 and Cisco/Juniper/Brocade/Foundry OS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of combined work history and education in networking.
• Compliance with DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 requirements.
• Experience with Cisco IOS, Juniper JUNOS, Brocade and Foundry OS.
• Layer 1–3 knowledge including OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, GRE.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Visio and ServiceNow.

Responsibilities

• Remotely support LAN/WAN devices from GNOC and respond to incidents.
• Configure and troubleshoot VLANs; diagnose network faults.
• Troubleshoot 1–3 layer networking issues and MPLS routing.
• Evaluate new network technologies and provide integration recommendations.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve incidents.
• Maintain network configurations and support ongoing operations.
