Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security – Air Dominance is seeking a Lead Guidance Navigation and Control Engineer in Hazelwood, MO. You will guide mission requirements, develop complex simulation models, and design flight control laws to meet performance targets.

You will work with software tools like MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++ to implement and test controllers, lead design reviews, and support flight testing and integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field is required.
• 14+ years work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• 5+ years of experience with Guidance Navigation and Control engineering.
• Experience using Matlab/Simulink or MatrixX to model systems.

Responsibilities

• Define GNC mission requirements and ensure traceability from system to component level.
• Develop and refine a nonlinear 6 DoF simulation model using multidisciplinary data.
• Design flight control laws and use modern control techniques to meet targets.
• Lead design reviews, analyses, simulations and testing to satisfy customer requirements.
