Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a seasoned GNC engineer to design and verify guidance, navigation, and control strategies for cruise missiles and flight vehicles. The role focuses on real-time embedded software integration, high-fidelity simulations, and cross-domain collaboration.

The position requires strong experience in GNC, C/C++, MATLAB/Simulink, and Python, with a US security clearance preferred. A robust benefits package is offered with relocation assistance possible for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience with GNC for cruise missiles or similar complex flight systems.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded code and MATLAB/Simulink modeling.
• Experience with Python for data analysis and rapid prototyping.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and verify GNC solutions for cruise missiles and 6 DOF models.
• Develop autopilot, targeting, and guidance algorithms.
• Define GNC interfaces to sensors and propulsion; evaluate latency and bandwidth.
