Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Experienced/Senior Guidance Navigation and Control (GNC) Engineer to join the Flight Systems Engineering Capability. You will work on flight control and subsystem control for the T-7A Red Hawk, contributing to design, development, integration and flight test.

An ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Engineering, 5+ years of related experience, and strong skills in system modeling and real-time control, with Matlab/Simulink experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years' related work experience or equivalent.
• Experience with system and component modeling preferred.
• Experience implementing algorithms in real-time systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and document GNC requirements with traceability from system to components.
• Develop nonlinear 6-DOF simulation models using multidisciplinary data.
• Assist in flight control law design and validation against test data.
• Validate models against flight test data and refine simulations.
• Collaborate with flight simulation and VMS software engineers to integrate control laws.
