Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for Utilities, HVAC & Controls at our Groton, CT site. This role leads technicians and professionals to maintain campus HVAC, utilities, and BMS in a pharma facility environment.

The position emphasizes supervisory responsibilities, PM, and compliance with cGMP, EPA, OSHA standards, with a daytime schedule and potential surge hours based on demand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six or more years of hands-on experience in HVAC, central chilled-water plants, and mechanical utilities, including at least three years in a supervisory/lead capacity.
• Experience with enterprise BMS/BAS platforms, alarm management, trending, and sequence-of-operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of HVAC leads, utilities maintenance leads, and BMS leads, and through them to technicians and specialists.
• Establish shift coverage, on-call rotations, overtime plans, and surge staffing for outages and peak demand.
• Drive preventive, predictive, and reliability-centered maintenance programs in the site CMMS (Maximo).
• Coordinate seasonal changeovers, winterization, and peak-load readiness.
